Our Mission

CCC4IS actively supports the development of safe and affirming school communities. We strive to celebrate diversity, advocate for social justice, and transform educational cultures by empowering youth, families, professionals, and organizations.

Pertinent Legislation

Seth's Law

School staff are required to intervene if they witness bullying. You may file a formal complaint to your school if you have been bullied or harassed; your school is required to respond. 

Fair Education Act
SB 48

History instruction shall  

include the political, economic, and social contributions of LGBTQ+ people in CA and the United States.

CA Healthy Youth Act

Your school shall offer sexual education that is comprehensive, medically accurate, and LGBTQ-inclusive. 

Suicide Prevention
Policies in Schools

Your school shall have a suicide prevention policy that specifically addresses the needs of LGBTQ students.

School Success &
Opportunity Act

Your school shall respect your gender identity in all school programs, activities, and facilities. That means you should be allowed to use restrooms and participate in sex-segregated activities that align with your gender identity.
